POPLARVILLE, Miss — Fresh off its fourth consecutive 10-win campaign, the Pearl River women's soccer program is once again earning postseason recognition, with five Wildcats receiving All-Conference honors from the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference.

"Five All-Conference selections and three of them were freshman," head coach Henrik Madsen said. "This group didn't just raise the bar — they carried it with them every time they stepped onto the pitch. Their work rate, their confidence on the ball and their commitment to the team made this season unforgettable. 

"The future is bright, the standard is high and these women are leading the way. So proud of what they've earned and who they've become."

Alesha Gale (Rotherham, England) and Maud Van Duren (Volkel, Netherlands) earned first team, Holly Jones (Liverpool, England) earned second team, and Maddie Kostmayer (Biloxi; St. Patrick) and Cali Kirkbride (St. Martin) earned honorable mention.  

ALESHA GALE
Gale led the Wildcats in scoring, netting 14 goals in 16 games this season. She exploded for four goals against Copiah-Lincoln, earning MACCC Offensive Player of the Week honors. In addition, Gale contributed 10 assists and scored three game-winning goals for Pearl River. 

MAUD VAN DUREN
Starting in 12 of 15 games, Van Duren was tasked with shutting down opposing attacks and delivered consistently throughout the season. She also contributed offensively, recording an assist against Copiah-Lincoln. 

HOLLY JONES 
Jones enjoyed an impressive sophomore season, tallying six goals and five assists across 14 games for Pearl River. Her standout performance came against East Central, where she notched two goals and added two assists.

In her two year career, Jones tallied 18 assists and 11 goals from her attacking midfield position.

MADDIE KOSTMAYER 
Kostmayer has been a defensive cornerstone for the Wildcats, starting 28 games over her two-year career. Her steady presence along the back line helped lead Pearl River to 12 shutouts during that span.

Kostmayer started 28 of 32 games in her two-year career as a Wildcat.

CALI KIRKBRIDE
Kirkbride had an outstanding freshman campaign, starting 10 games and playing a key role in slowing opposing attacks. She also contributed offensively with an assist in the 6-2 victory over Hinds.
