MOBILE, Ala. — The Pearl River women's golf team got the spring season underway Monday and Tuesday at the Snead State Spring Invitational, finishing in 12th place.
The Wildcats finished with a two-day total of 255-over.
Maya Morelos (Gramblin, La.; Ruston) finished in 47th place, improving from 31-over in round one to 23-over in round two.
Berklie Dunn (Mobile, Ala.; Faith Academy) took 49th place. She shot 34-over to open the tournament before improving to 25-over in round two.
Abby Futch (Gulfport; St. Patrick) tied for 53rd with a score of 64-over. Savannah Madigan (Long Beach) finished 78-over and tied for 59th place.
Emery Fildes (Slidell, La.) capped the Wildcat scoring with a score of 128-over to finish in 62nd place.

The Wildcats return to action March 9-10 for the Jefferson State Women's Spring Invitational at Marcus Pointe Golf Club in Pensacola, Fla.
