No. 8 Pearl River's Emil Corfitzen is tabbed NJCAA National Player of the Week

POPLARVILLE, Miss. — The National Junior College Athletic Association announced its weekly awards Wednesday morning, and No. 8 Pearl River's Emil Corfitzen (Copenhagen, Denmark) has been named Player of the Week.

Corfitzen was a nightmare for the No. 11 Hinds defense on Tuesday, netting four goals on just five shots. Capping off an explosive performance, he also added an assist — playing a direct role in every goal of the 5-1 victory.

This season, Corfitzen has been a driving force for Pearl River, tallying 13 goals and five assists. He's been directly involved in 18 of the team's goals and leads the squad with four game-winners, highlighting his ability to deliver in clutch moments.
