Pearl River eSports goes 7-1 on the week

POPLARVILLE, Miss. — The Pearl River eSports team finished the week 7-1 against all game titles last week.

Jeffery Jasper and Ethan Smith earned a clean sweep over Marshalltown in Fortnite Builds, 2-0. Ian Herring and Laird Walker took care of business against Rose State with a sweep of their own, 2-0. 

Carson Freeman played a pair of matches on the week, taking down Northwest College 2-1 in a best of three before sweeping Navarro 2-0. Alex Pentecost dropped his lone matchup of the week against Navarro, 2-1.

Rocket League picked up the pace, winning a trio of matches. Alex Arbo and Colton Kropp defeated Collin and State Tech 3-1 before finishing the night with a clean sweep of Southwest Tech, 3-0.

NEXT UP
The Wildcats will compete each week Tuesday-Friday. Fortnite competes on Tuesday, Madden on Wednesday, Rocket League on Thursday and NBA 2K on Friday.
