POPLARVILLE, Miss. — The Pearl River eSports team had another fantastic week Oct. 13-17, picking up several big wins.
Jeffrey Jasper and Ethan Smith took down their opponents from Alvin in a clean sweep, 2-0. The team of Ian Herring and Laird Walker fell in a hard-fought matchup against Forsyth Tech, 2-0. Jasper and Smith are 3-2 on the year while Herring and Walker are 2-3.
Carson Freeman came up short against his opponent from Seward County before 2-0 before bouncing back tomorrow sweep Marshalltown 2-0. Alex Pentecost continued his great start to the year, defeating Seward County 2-0 before finishing off the night with a 2-0 victory over East Georgia. Freeman sits at 2-4 on the year while Pentecost is 4-1.
Alex Arbo and Colton Kropp took care of business in Rocket League against Bluegrass College, winning the match 3-0.
Jaxon Hunter wrapped the week up by defeating his opponent from East Georgia handily. Hunter is now 7-1 overall and 21-6 across all matches.

The Wildcats will compete each week Tuesday-Friday. Fortnite competes on Tuesday, Madden on Wednesday, Rocket League on Thursday and NBA 2K on Friday.
