POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Former Pearl River baseball standout and current Southern Miss Golden Eagle pitcher Camden Clark has been selected to participate in the 2026 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp.

Clark is currently competing in Cary, North Carolina, for a spot on the final Team USA international roster. The camp includes 50 of the country's top non-draft-eligible collegiate prospects and is divided into the Stars and Stripes teams.

During Clark's 2025 freshman campaign as a Wildcat, he was an elite option for Pearl River both as a starter and out of the bullpen. He made 18 appearances on the year, wrapping up the season 6-3 with a 3.20 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP across 59 innings pitched. He struck out 76 batters against 23 walks.

When conference play rolled around, Clark took things up a notch, throwing  1/3 innings and pitching his way to a 2.30 ERA. He twice struck out double-digit batters against Copiah-Lincoln, finishing with 11 and 10, respectively. The right-hander ultimately helped PRCC win an MACCC Championship, a Region 23 title, and finish as the National Runner-up.

He carried his dominance into Hattiesburg for the 2026 season. After opening the season as the Golden Eagle closer, Clark transitioned into one of the most dominant starting pitchers in the country. He appeared in 23 games, posting an 8-0 record and a 2.93 ERA. He struck out 81 batters against just 12 walks in  1/3 innings. Clark's most impressive appearance of the year came against Louisiana-Monroe when he struck out 15 batters and allowed just one run in seven innings of work.

He was named to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Midseason Watch List before his move to the rotation. He then went on to be named First-Team All-Sun Belt, ABCA All-South Region, and an NCBWA Third-Team All-America selection.

The USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp runs through July 4. On July 5, the final 26-man international roster will be selected. International games will be played July 11-15.
