Additionally, nine other PRCC programs finished with at least a 3.0 GPA, including women's soccer (3.77), men's golf (3.52), volleyball (3.48), softball (3.43), women's golf (3.42), men's soccer (3.38), baseball (3.33), women's basketball (3.20) and cheer (3.15).
MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Pearl River men's basketball team returned to playing Championship basketball in 2024-25. The Wildcats were leading the pack in the MACCC before an injury set the team back a few games. They went on to win 24 games, finishing 11-3 in MACCC play. Pearl River then fought its way to the Region 23 Championship game, where it earned a Runner-up finish.
RODEO
The Pearl River rodeo team got off to a rough start, but rallied back late in the season to make some noise. Jay Rodrigue (Thibodaux, La.) was named the Ozark Region's Reserve Champion, and Kate Eiland (Kentwood, La.) was the Reserve Champion in breakaway roping. Both qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming. Rodrigue went on to finish sixth overall, and Eiland became Pearl River rodeo's first-ever National Champion.
The award is the second in a row for PRCC rodeo.
