PRCC's Kobe Lie wins another MACJC honor

For the second week in a row the MACJC's best goalkeeper suited up for the Pearl River Wildcats.

Sophomore Kobe Lie (Hattiesburg; North Forrest) was named the league's Goalkeeper of the Week after leading the Wildcats (5-0, 2-0 MACJC South Division) to a 5-1 win over Meridian.

Lie stopped seven of eight shots in the contest to pick up his fifth victory of the season.

On the season, Lie is 5-0 with a .912 save percentage, 0.63 goals against average and two shutouts. He has made 31 saves in 429 minutes between the pipes, conceeding just three goals.

Other MACJC winners this week were: Jones College midfielder Cris Rodrigo, Northwest attacker Cheyenne Smith and JC goalkeeper Alexis Wilson.

PRCC is back in action Tuesday with a 7 p.m. start at rival JC.
